This house demonstrates many earth-friendly features! The home relies on active solar panels and a micro-hydro system for all of its energy needs. It incorporates passive solar features in the design and all of its appliances are low-energy users. The house, built over 15 years ago, has been featured in Real Goods' Solar Homes tour.
